How it went
What was there
The property was heated with baseboard heaters that were inefficient and did not do the job well.
What we did
We replaced them with a multi-head ductless split system, as a clean energy upgrade.
The result
The property has air conditioning now too, which Mark calls an added bonus.
About multi-head ductless systems
A multi-head ductless system runs several indoor heads from one outdoor unit, so each zone gets its own head and its own setting.
A heat pump moves heat from the outside air into the building, so it delivers more heat for each unit of electricity than a baseboard heater does, and the same equipment runs in reverse to cool in summer.
